The detection self-calibrates per streamer, so it never false-triggers on consistently high-traffic chats.

Vertical 9:16 + burned-in subtitles

Every clip is automatically reframed to 9:16 with a blurred background fill. Accurate word-by-word captions are transcribed locally using Whisper and burned directly into the video — no third-party editor, no upload to external services.

Yes. Klipr runs locally on your Windows PC so it needs to be on and connected to the internet. Most users let it run in the background on a dedicated machine or leave their main PC running overnight — it uses minimal CPU and RAM when idle.
Klipr currently monitors Kick and Twitch. Both platforms are fully supported — you can monitor channels from either or both at the same time. Additional platforms are on the roadmap and will arrive as free updates.
YouTube Shorts and TikTok. You connect your own accounts during setup — all views, subscribers, and revenue go directly to you. Instagram Reels is coming soon. YouTube has a daily API upload limit of approximately 6 videos per day on a standard project quota.

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended for smooth transcription), a modern multi-core CPU, and a stable broadband internet connection. Klipr uses local AI transcription via Whisper which is CPU-intensive — a faster CPU means faster clip processing.
