Yes. Klipr runs locally on your Windows PC so it needs to be on and connected to the internet. Most users let it run in the background on a dedicated machine or leave their main PC running overnight — it uses minimal CPU and RAM when idle.
Klipr currently monitors Kick and Twitch. Both are fully supported — you can watch channels from either or both at the same time. Additional platforms are on the roadmap and will arrive as free updates.
YouTube Shorts. You connect your own channel during setup — all views, subscribers and revenue go directly to you. YouTube has a daily API upload limit of approximately 6 videos per day on a standard project quota.
YouTube shares ad revenue on Shorts with creators in the YouTube Partner Program — that is why Klipr targets it rather than TikTok, whose creator fund pays far less for the same views. You have to reach YouTube’s Partner Program thresholds first (1,000 subscribers plus 10 million public Shorts views in 90 days), and what you earn after that depends on your views and audience. Klipr’s job is to keep good clips going out every day so you get there faster. It cannot promise a figure, and anyone selling you one is guessing.
Yes. Klipr is billed monthly, and you can cancel anytime — no long-term contract. Every future update — new platforms, new features, improvements — is included in your subscription at no extra cost.
No. Klipr is a normal Windows app with a setup wizard that walks you through connecting your YouTube channel step by step. Everything else — clipping, subtitles, headlines, uploading — happens on its own.
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended for smooth transcription), a modern multi-core CPU, and a stable broadband internet connection. Klipr uses local AI transcription via Whisper which is CPU-intensive — a faster CPU means faster clip processing.
